In today’s Fortune article CNN finally says something that may offend the Obamaphiles out there. It says something at least bordering on truth about The One’s agenda.
Obama promises Americans what appears to be a bargain by heavily subsidizing their premiums. But the only way to pay for what’s really outrageously expensive coverage will be huge tax increases, especially on the same middle class that’s being wooed as the chief beneficiary of reform.
How is it people need to be told this? How is it the MSM has avoided/refused to mention it all this time? How can people still believe in the “free lunch” theory of economics when they have Canada and Britain and every other government run medical scheme, or any government program for that matter, to prove otherwise? This SHOULD be obvious. If the people of this nation actually used their brains they would know it without needing to be told…and vote accordingly.
Instead they vote for the candidate who promises them the most in free lunch economics, apparently actually believing that not only will nobody will have to pay for it but that he’ll pay their mortgage and their gas, too. This is how the Democrat Party survives, by promising the moon and the sky. It’s why most of the electorate shouldn’t be voting, they not only believe it, they keep believing it every time even when it never comes true. And it’s why any sane person realizes the MSM is biased in favor of leftism; they don’t talk about that giant T-Rex in the room everytime a Dem opens his or her mouth.
It’s what is amazing about this CNN article. Why it’s worth spreading around. It might, with that biased CNN label on it, actually wake up a few of the Obamaphiles to what the rest of us refer to as “Reality”. That thing you find on Blogs, Fox and out there in the world while NOT getting a welfare check for six illigitimate kids by six irresposible “men”. That thing that offends people who keep voting for a free lunch.
But then I may be wrong. The very fact Obama is POTUS says something about the gullibility and slow-wittedness of much of the US population. Maybe more importantly than what it says about those who voted for him, though, is what it says about those who just stayed home and let it happen, and the caliber of what the opposition offered against him. When someone like Obama, the “shadow in a suit”, can become leader of the free world there well may be more wrong than just a biased media, and too much for that media to fix if it ever should wake up.
Most of the site is now up and functional. What I need is data. Everything you’ve seen during the campaign and admin of The One. Join the forum and post info and links there. Email me. Add comments here. But give me stories and leads to start compiling the library that is the main purpose of this site. If you can’t remember what or exactly where that’s fine, give me what you do remmber and I’ll go sniff it out.
This site can be a great repository of information for those determined to fight the good fight against Carter’s second term. But you have to put effort into it individually to get anything back out of it. So let’s roll, ladies and gents.
Honey, with hips and ass like that you just don’t do horizontal stripes. Not unless you really want to broadcast the fact of the trailer trash you are this early in the game…
